Whitney graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a BA in Artwork Instruction and Painting. Whitney earned an MFA in Studio Artwork from the Sam Fox School of Visual Art at Washington University in St. Louis.

The Lincoln Center Art Gallery is free and open up to the general public Wednesdays and Fridays, 12–6 p.m. and for most performances.
